Exploring the Floral Series: A Joyful Escape into Art and Home Décor

As many of you know, I am deeply passionate about portrait painting. There’s something incredibly special about capturing the essence of a person on canvas. However, portraiture can sometimes be a bit stressful—every detail must be just right. A misplaced brushstroke can drastically alter a face, making it look awkward unless you’re going for a more abstract style. But let’s save that conversation for another time.

In contrast, nature allows for a more relaxed, pressure-free creative process. A tree with a slightly lower branch won’t look odd, and there’s freedom in that flexibility. That’s why I often find myself drawn to painting nature and objects that don’t demand perfection. It’s a liberating experience that allows me to feel free, creative, and more spontaneous in my work.

This desire for a joyful, low-pressure subject matter, combined with my excitement about reopening my online store, inspired me to create a new collection. The past few years have been a journey. Closing my business and losing all my supplies was a difficult time. However, this challenge led me to explore the world of digital art, particularly NFTs. While the NFT market has had its ups and downs, this transition opened new creative possibilities for me. Today, my art studio fits in my purse, and I’ve never felt more creatively empowered.
