Celebrating Universal Love Through Art
A while back, I watched a video titled “Love Has No Labels,” which left a profound impact on me. The campaign behind the video aims to challenge our perceptions and address the unconscious biases that shape our judgments. Although the vast majority of Americans consider themselves unprejudiced, many of us unintentionally make snap judgments based on characteristics like race, age, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability.
The Love Has No Labels campaign urges us to confront and dismantle these biases within ourselves, our families, and our communities. The video itself features a powerful visual: a large screen where people stand behind, but all that appears to the viewer are their skeletons. Stripped of our external differences, we are fundamentally the same underneath. When the people come to the front of the screen, the audience sees couples, friends, and families of all backgrounds, showing that love in its purest form transcends the labels society imposes.
Transforming a Message Into Art

Inspired by the video’s profound message, I felt compelled to create a piece that reflects my belief in a future where kindness and acceptance are paramount, and love is celebrated in all its forms. While October often inspires me to create darker-themed art, such as skulls, my latest piece, “Love Has No Labels,” took a different path. It started with the motif of skeletons, in line with the month’s themes, but soon evolved into a vibrant, colorful celebration of love and unity.
Since launching the Love is Louder series, my focus has been on representing the many expressions of love, especially queer love. While I don’t often wave my identity openly, I identify as bisexual. However, this artwork isn’t limited to a specific community or orientation—it’s a universal message. It highlights that underneath our physical differences, we are all the same, and love knows no boundaries.

Love Has No Boundaries
“Love Has No Labels” is more than just a piece of art—it’s a reminder to look beyond superficial differences and embrace the common humanity we all share. Love doesn’t have a specific gender, color, or religion, and this piece serves as a call to open our hearts to acceptance.
The artwork is now available as prints and a range of merchandise that carries this message forward. Whether you’re adding a meaningful piece to your space or sharing the message with others through vibrant, wearable art, you can be part of spreading this important message.
